GREEN ACNE FIGHTING POTION, Sunday Riley’s U.F.O Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil:

This mean green acne fighting machine (oil) really STINKS. hahaha but really, this facial oil is one of the smelliest I’ve ever tried. I have had a serious love/hate relationship with this magical Sunday Riley facial oil. Months ago I had my first baby and my skin went HAYWIRE. There was nothing I could do to get it under control and I had horrible huge painful cystic acne EVERYWHERE. I was in a panic and heard wonderful things about this oil so I purchased and used it x2 per day, everyday. ⁣

After using this oil AM and PM, all over my face (despite directions of spot treating, I was desperate) my acne completely dried up and I was seriously impressed. My acne was gone within a matter of a couple days so I thought this oil was the bees knees! It was stinky, took 20-30 mins to fully absorb (prob because I used it in excess) but it was crazy effective. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Little did I realize, how potent and drying this oil is. It is 1.5% Salicylic acid!! So it completely destroyed my moisture barrier and I threw it from my routine for a long time. Thus my skincare obsession was born trying to fix my skin....⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Long story short, recently I had a stubborn pimple that would not come to a head nor would it go away regardless of the acne patches, masks, serums, etc. So this is my “go-to” when I am at my last possible resort. It’s an amazing oil, don’t get me wrong, just a huge warning to use it properly. Use it to spot treat or use it all over only at night. Only you can determine what’s best for your skin (listen to how it reacts)!
